Roles
Feedback on school policies and activities and an opportunity to become involved in your child's education
Provide additional resources to enhance student learning through fundraising initiatives and management of both the Curlew Canteen (tuckshop) and OHSC.
Our P and C has been highly successful in supporting the children of YKSS through some of the initiatives below.
Obtaining a grant to install two large 5.5m fans in the basketball court.
Fitted out each classroom with fridges to keep lunches cool and fresh.
Contributed to the upgrade of the Prep area with new tables and painted playground games, including a giant snakes and ladders board.
Converted the old "art cage" into a large air conditioned learning space that is used by both OHSC and the school.
Donated money to contribute robotics equipment to the STEM program.
Paid for music and drama performances, enabling every child the opportunity to enjoy the performance.
Purchased concertina display boards to showcase the artworks of our talented kids.
